The Duo, Cengiz (piano) & Caruso (bass), celebrates a collaboration between two musicians for the past decade. Together they explore a variety of jazz standards as well as originals inspired by Turkish music.

Born in Italy and raised across the USA and the Netherlands, Andrea Caruso has devoted his life to exploring music without boundaries—studying and performing classical, jazz, world music, and everything in between. He has studied with renowned artists such as John Patitucci, Catalin Rotaru, Jerry Bergonzi, Phil Markowitz, Marc Copland, and Johannes Weidenmüller.

Murat Ali Cengiz: Originally from Istanbul/Turkey, Netherlands based Murat Ali Cengiz is an award winning composer, pianist and architect. He has performed as a pianist and a band leader throughout Europe. His music spans across Turkish folk music to contemporary classical music.
